Over the past seven years, Tecna had developed an integrated Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) system based on a legacy Act! contact database, a bespoke Microsoft Access database and an on-premise Quickbooks accounting system. “While the current system has served us well, it’s now holding the business back due to poor mobile access for remote sales staff, a lack of integration with marketing tools, reporting that is no longer fit-for-purpose, and an inability to scale with the business,” said Simeon Wicks, Managing Director at Tecna UK. “Providing a quick and accurate turnaround for our customers is our top priority, and we needed a new solution to ensure we could continue to deliver a superior level of service.”

Workbooks CRM allows Tecna’s sales team to streamline the entire lead-to-cash process (lead, opportunity, quote, order and invoice). It integrates with MailChimp for lead generation activities, with the website for lead capture, with the bespoke CPQ system for quoting, with Outlook for email tracking and with Quickbooks for accounting purposes. It underpins the entire commercial process.
