Reviewing Live Activities

I use the report that shows My Activities. When I find an activity I want to add to or update I find that the activityi isn't "live"; ie clicking it doesn't open it and take me to it. This is bit of an irritant and doesn't gel with the rest of the way your reports work. All the others make the items listed - leads, opportunities etc - "live".

Hi

With regards to your first point about hyperlinking through to Activities from a report, this is a known issue which has been logged at this end and is in the pipeline to be fixed.

Regarding your second point, we've tried printing from the Open Activities view, which has worked regardless of browser. Could it be that your browser is set to block pop-ups? Please would you check the existing forum post regarding printing and pop-up blockers, which you can access here. Of course, if this doesn't resolve the problem, please let us know.

OK on point 1; I'll await the fix.

I think you're probably right on point 2 and it's a pop-up related issue. Can't quite bottom why I'm not being notified; all my browsers are set to ask about pop-ups when they want to display not just reject them.

Good news! The activity report linking issue mentioned in the comment posted on 21 March 2011 05:25 PM has been fixed in a recent release.

The print report option doesn't appear to be working. I can't list my Open Activities for checking against my open Opportunities.(That was going to be my workaround for the lack of live linking problem reported first in this post). I've tried it in both IE and Chrome; I'll give Firefox and Opera a go as well.
