Using Workbooks Server to send Emails

Last updated : 03/12/2010

An overview of settings recommended to avoid your email being blocked as spam.

Tip

We recommend that you set up your existing SMTP server to send emails from within Workbooks.

If you want to use the Workbooks servers to send your outbound emails then you must setup your SPF records in DNS so that the Workbooks servers are recognised as a valid source of email for your domain. This will reduce the likelihood that your email is blocked as spam.

Your IT team or company that manages your DNS records can help with the configuration.  They need to ensure that the SPF TXT record includes spf.workbooks.com. e.g.

TXT "v=spf1 include:spf.workbooks.com ~all"
