Alternative Email Addresses and Dropboxes

I have been doing some testing with Dropboxes and Person Alternative Email Addresses and so far I have found the following:

alt email addresses are not checked when workbooks verifies is the Person is an authorised sender to the Dropbox
alt email addresses are not checked when workbook tries to link an incoming email with a Person

Is the expected functionality?

Hello Mark,

It's a defect, or at the least a missing feature, that it doesn't do this (use the Alternate / Home email addresses). We have it logged and it will be addressed in a forthcoming release.
