We were considering saving all our incoming support email as attachments to the Case or person record. We'll often however get customers attaching large files to these emails. Does workbooks impose a size limit to how large these files can be (I guess no larger than the email limit imposed by the email client)? If we can attach large files can we easily delete them at a later date once the support issues are resolved? |

Hello,
10MB is the maximum single Attachment size. Emails can be up to approximately 16MB in total (this includes attachment(s), text, inline images, signature etc.). When emails are sent they are wrapped up into a standard email message format. This size may differ slightly from that displayed in the "Size" column of your email client's sent items folder. Emails can be manually deleted from the system when you're finished with them. You can do this from the Emails tab or landing page. NOTE: If you delete an email it is deleted permanently. I hope you find this information useful. Further information on working with emails is available here: Working With Emails. |

Hi Gareth, There is no way to remove an attachment when is has been sent to your Dropbox. You will need to remove the attachment before you forward the email, most email clients will allow you to do this simply by right clicking on the attachment and selecting 'Remove attachment'. Kind regards, Support |

It is now possible for the Workbooks support team to increase these limits. If you need this doing, please get in touch. |
