We're a small charity using the free workbooks. I'd like to add the option of a relationship between an individual and an organisation of "trustee" but I can't find where to edit it in the picklists. Can you help? Thanks! |

As you surmised, (HTML) templates are limited to specific record types and pull through values from that record itself and its associated records. They're therefore a little limited at the moment: they were originally built mainly for the purpose of populating emails and notes. And record templates (introduced in June) are currently restricted to populating records with fixed values.
It would be possible to build a 'Process Button' which populates the record in question very flexibly, taking values from related records and the record itself. This would require a Workbooks Script to be written which would use the Workbooks API to gather that data and populate the record. This is something we can help with if you are able to use some Admin Service Credits for the work.
