The export facility in Workbooks allows you to export as an Excel or CSV file type.  Click Export > Excel or CSV.  What happens next depends on which browser you're using and how it's configured.  Remember that Workbooks is just running within your browser and it's not Workbooks that handles the download, it's your web browser.

The web browser may do one or a combination of these things:  

• Prompt you to specify where you want to save the file.

• Launch a new window.

• Open a "Downloads" window.

• Block the download with a popup blocker - see this article for additional information.

Regardless of what the browser does, downloads are easily accessible in the Downloads window, which is accessed as follows (screenshots also included below):  

• Google Chrome 15 - Spanner/wrench icon > Downloads or Ctrl+J keyboard shortcut

• Firefox 7 - Firefox button > Downloads or Ctrl+J keyboard shortcut

• Internet Explorer 9 - Cog icon or Ctrl+J keyboard shortcut

• Safari 5.1 - Cog icon or Ctrl+Alt+J keyboard shortcut
