How do I get fields to map / transfer from the Sales Leads to other objects created during the sales lead conversion process?

How do I get fields to map / transfer from the Sales Leads to other objects created during the sales lead conversion process?
I have custom fields on the Sales Lead and I need them to be automatically transferred to the People, Organisation, Opportunity records created during the conversion process. |

The data from any Lead custom fields will be copied across to all the new records you choose to create during the conversion process as long as the same custom field (i.e. the same data type and the same name) has been created on each target record type.
In addition, when converting a Lead, Workbooks will copy any Notes and/or Activities that appear on the Lead onto the Person, Organisation and Opportunity.
