How do I set a default value?

How do I set a default value?  I want newly created cases to be assigned to a particular queue by default.

Default values are set in the Form Layouts screens:

 

  • Start > Configuration > Customisation > Form Layouts > Create a New Layout or select an existing one > Select the relevant Object type.

  • Fields tab > Open Assigned to.

  • Select a Default Value.
