It doesn't sound like you will have lost any data.  Occasionally changes are made to Internet browsers, which impact on the way Workbooks is displayed.  If you find that sections of your screen are shown in blue and a field (or fields) are missing, the most likely explanation is that this is a browser zoom issue and you simply need to reset the zoom level:

• Firefox:  Menu bar > View > Zoom > Reset.
• Chrome:  Spanner Icon > Set zoom to 100%.
