Workbooks is a web-based application and using a mix of Operating Systems is fine. The application has been tested and is used by our customers on a combination of Windows, Apple and Linux Operating Systems and browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari* and Internet Explorer).

*Note that as of our January 2015 release, Safari is no longer supported in a Windows environment.
