I am trying to rename the field "Partners" that I do not need to "Non-Prospects". Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how?

Not knowing how to rename an existing template field I have successfully managed to create a new field for "Non Prospects" however the view listing does not allow for the Non Prospects to show individually as is the case for the existing template fields "Partners", "Prospects", Suppliers" and "Competitors".

If renaming is not possible can anyone assit how to setup the new custom filed "Non Prospects" to individually show in the view listing.

Yes it is possible to rename a custom field label. To do this go to Start>Configuration>Customisation>Record Types and select the record type of the custom field you wish to change. From here, go to the Custom Fields tab and select the custom field you would like to rename, then in the opened window simply rename the field label - this will update all the labels of the custom field on the form layout and for report.
