Creating an Alias within a Client Record (Main Tab of a client) will result in the client appearing twice on the Client List.  
By entering an Alias, this will enable searching of either the client or Alias name.

Alternately, by removing the Alias from the Main Tab of the client, the client record will only display once from the Client Search Screen.
