Workbooks not recognizing a valid email

Hi, I'm trying to add an email for a person in Workbooks but it is giving me an error message that the email "is not a valid email address." But it is, and it works just fine. Is there something I can do to get around this?

Hi, thanks for your post. 

This message often appears if there is something incorrect in the email address. E.g. apostrophe in name, not valid domain etc.
