Bank Account Validation

If you are using Postcode Anywhere, you can add a validation to your Bank Account and Account Number fields to ensure they are always entered in the correct format.

We’ve integrated Loqate’s sort code and account number validation service into Workbooks to ensure that bank details are entered correctly into the system if required.

If the sort code or account number are not in the expected format, or are invalid, you will not be able to save the record.

You can add this validation to People or Organisation records. To enable this service, you’ll need to have a valid Loqate Payment Validation key and fields for Sort Code and Account number on your database. A backend change to your account is required to activate the integration, so please contact Workbooks Support with details of your validation key and database instance and we’ll take care of the rest.
