Creating new records in both Workbooks and your email client

If you need to create a new Person and have them link to your Outlook, we recommend creating them in Workbooks first and allowing the sync to relay the data to Outlook. This is because Workbooks allows you to have more control over what information you record about the person, such as their employer.

Using the WESS to update information

The WESS can be used to maintain and update information between records in Workbooks and objects in your email client – this works according to the following rule: the record with the most recent change applied to it will always win.
