Introduction to Data Enrichment
We have partnered up with FullContact to provide you with the ability to enrich your Workbooks data, which enables you to create highly personalised and effective marketing communication.
FullContact uses API data from sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google etc. to bring in more information about a Person, Organisation or Sales Lead.
Note
Sometimes Enrich provides lots of information and sometimes not so much. Workbooks cannot guarantee the availability of information for every record.
What fields can be populated from FullContact?
The table below shows which fields can be populated using information from FullContact. You should ensure that you have added these fields to your form layouts if you want to be able to see this data.
![]() |
PERSON | Name, Photo, Job Title, Biography, LinkedIn profile, Facebook profile, Twitter profile, Skype name, Telephone, Postcode |
![]() |
ORGANISATION | Name, Logo, Biography, LinkedIn profile, Facebook profile, Twitter profile, Telephone, Postcode |
![]() |
SALES LEAD | Name, Photo, Job Title, Organisation name, Logo, Biography, LinkedIn profile, Facebook profile, Twitter profile, Skype name, Telephone, Postcode |
How it works
The Enrich button appears on People, Organisation and Sales Lead records where there is more information available for the Record. If the button does not appear, it is because there is no further information available.
Clicking on the Enrich button will show you what information is available. You can either choose to keep your current data or replace it with the information from FullContact.
If this field already has data in it then by default ‘Current’ will be selected so that you have a chance to review the information and manually select the changes.
If you search for an email address or domain name that doesn’t exist in your database and the information is available via FullContact, then you will be prompted to create a new Person or Organisation Record.
Note
If you are creating Records from Data Enrichment you will need to ensure that you are able to create Records without a Record Template. This setting can be found in the Advanced Section of Record Customisation from within the Configuration Menu.
