People & Organisations to QuickBooks Customers
What does this Zap do?
There are two Zap Templates available for syncing Workbooks People and Organisation People records to QuickBooks Online Customers. These templates are called:
- Create new Customers in QuickBooks Online when new Organisations are created in Workbooks CRM
- Create new Customers in QuickBooks Online when new People are created in Workbooks CRM
This Zap will search for an existing QuickBooks Online record and if not found, creates a new record:
- For People, the Zap will search by email address in QuickBooks Online
- For Organisations, the Zap will search by name in QuickBooks Online
Setting up the Zap
The Zap Templates can be used to speed up the process of configuring this integration. It selects the correct Trigger and Action for you, and sets up some field mappings. You may wish to add further field mappings to suit your business requirements.
Zap Template & Field Mappings
You can use either of the below Zap templates to help you set up your Zap.
This will set up the following field mappings on the QuickBooks Customer record:

5 | People mapping only – used to lookup the Person in Step 1 |
Once configured, the “Create new Workbooks Posted Invoice as new QuickBooks Online Invoice” Zap will be able to find a Customer in QuickBooks Online at the point of creating a new Invoice.
