13th July 2017, London, UK: Workbooks announces that its CRM platform has been selected for the latest iteration of the Government’s G-Cloud framework.
The G-Cloud Framework acts as a Digital Marketplace for cloud-based services, enabling Public Sector organisations to purchase services that have been certified by the Government. With the framework, Government departments, executive agencies and non-departmental public bodies have an innovative, cheaper and faster way to access and procure cloud-based software, including CRM and Business applications.
“Workbooks has a proven track record of providing cloud-based solutions to public sector organisations, and with our solution certified for G-Cloud 9 framework, customers can buy Workbooks’ CRM with the confidence of using an experienced and reliable supplier,” said John Cheney, Workbooks CEO. “We have seen significant reforms to the G-Cloud 9 procurement agreement since our initial involvement in 2012 and we are pleased to have been certified as part of the new agreement.”
The new agreement has undergone several changes with the aim of providing a more flexible maximum contract length, as well as ensuring only one version of G-Cloud is in place at a time. The G-Cloud ‘9 lot structure’ has also been simplified to cut the previous four service categories down to three: Cloud Hosting, Cloud Software and Cloud Support; Workbooks CRM appears in the Cloud Software category.
