Workbooks CRM – Your Alternative to Microsoft Dynamics 365

A CRM solution from the world’s leading software company might seem like the obvious choice, but Microsoft Dynamics 365 isn’t the right solution for every organisation.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the CRM businesses switch from most often, with many Dynamics customers rethinking their options after the recent price hike.

The three most common reasons for switching are:

  1. Licence Costs – Workbooks is 4X less expensive than Dynamics 365
  2. Co-Funded Implementation – Workbooks lowers the cost of implementation with co-funded implementation services
  3. Vendor Relationship – In the mid-market Microsoft works through partners, while our clients prefer to deal directly with us

Feature Title
Licence Cost
Our entry level pricing for CRM Edition, which include sales and customer support, starts at £25 per user per month. Order processing & invoicing is included on our Business edition at £55 per user per month.

Customer Satisfaction
Workbooks CRM has the highest rating of any CRM vendor in our space, according to independent comparison site G2. Workbooks Net Promoter Score (NPS) is 43 (from a range of -100 to +100). Customers who have switched from Microsoft tell us they much prefer dealing directly with the CRM vendor rather than relying on a third-party reseller.
Microsoft requires you to buy both, so if you want the Professional edition for Sales and Service Cloud, it increases to £80 or £140 for Enterprise.
Implementation Approach
Workbooks offers two approaches: Jumpstart: Pre-packaged deployments for sales, marketing or customer support. Designed to address the common requirements we see in mid-size companies. Jumpstart pricing starts at £6,265 Shared Success: An initial workshop run with you to determine the business outcomes you require and how they will be achieved. The workshop is run at your offices over 2 days and we co-fund the work, providing 6 days of consultancy at £2,685. Following the workshop if you move ahead with Workbooks we will provide up to 15 days of free implementation services*.
It’s different depending on the Microsoft partner you choose. Microsoft consultancy rates are typically higher than Workbooks and because these organisations make their money purely on services, they can’t afford to give free or discounted days away. In contrast Workbooks offers up to 15 free days under our Shared Success approach.
Commercial Approach
As a Workbooks customer you contract directly with us for the provision of the service, technical support and implementation. You have a single partner to work with, to achieve your outcomes.
Microsoft typically sell the license directly, but you are left to find a Dynamics 365 certified partner for the implementation. Microsoft does have many partners, all of whom rely on the revenue they generate from consultancy services to stay in business.
